The long-awaited second solo release from Mike Biggers, Ain’t Makin’ This Up, is finally here!
If I were you, I would purchase it by clicking on the link to the right. I ain’t makin’ that up. Ok, I am.
Unleashed with the fury of a storm surge, the first solo full length CD from Mike Biggers, Smoke Signals in a Hurricane, is now available. A thirteen-song musical journey, Smoke Signals in a Hurricane winds in and out of styles and genres, with each departure from the previous song sliding naturally to the next. Austin, TX producer and multi-instrumentalist Lloyd Maines says, “Mike Biggers has recorded a great body of work on this CD. I like the diversity in his music, folk, swing, pop and jazzy. The fidelity is good too. This is a good listen.”
I want to thank all the fabulous musicians who added so much to this CD, Matt Engle at Musitech Studios, Dennis McGregor for his cool artwork, and Lynn Woodward for her photography, graphic design and web help.
So come on in and take a look around for more information including Mike’s bio, some upcoming shows, song lyrics from the CD and notes, quotes, and general happenings.
